Update From Our Co-founder, Max
Hey Nyan Army!
It’s been some time since my last direct announcement, although for me it feels like time has flown by so quickly! I see a lot of new faces here and also many familiar ones too. Please allow me to reintroduce myself. I’m Max, the co-founder of Nyan Heroes! I’m excited to share what the team has been working on since our last update and what we plan to do going forward.
I’d love to kick off this update with gratitude for this community. We’ve heard your recent feedback and will be implementing a number of new initiatives to make our development process more transparent. You’ve asked us to share more leaks and more insights in the game design process. You’ve requested more information regarding our tokenomics and how our in-game economy will be designed. You wanted to hear from the team more often.
We are fully committed to delivering based on the feedback of our amazing community and here’s how.
We’ve doubled in size and now have teams dedicated to keeping you informed.
We have grown our team from 20 members in December 2021 to almost 40 people today! We are proud to have one of the most experienced AAA game development teams in web3 with professional experience from Pixar, Ubisoft, EA, Riot Games, and more.

This trailer was created by our amazing art and animation team using our in-house assets. We are hoping this will provide an insight to the vision we are seeking to achieve, the quality of our products, and set a benchmark for the kind of gameplay we want to bring to this space!
Tokenomics update being published on April 14
This will be our first update explaining the mechanics of our tokenomics. This will be followed by an updated and more detailed whitepaper, as well as details of our IDO soon, including the go-live date. We appreciate your patience so far and are excited to share these details soon!
Post-IDO mech drop on track
Our mech drop for our genesis NFT holders has always been scheduled to occur post-IDO and this is still the case. It’s not too late to grab yourself a Nyan NFT if you haven’t already! We will be releasing the date of the mech drop at a later date post-IDO. Holders will be airdropped a mint token that will allow them to mint a random Guardian and class based on the rarity of the Nyan they are holding. Our first drop will include the Warrior, Tank, Assassin and Medic classes, with the other classes being in the secondary drop at a later date.

We have been building the Nyan Heroes universe in Unreal Engine 5 and, as you can see from the prototype gameplay leak, it’s looking amazing! But Nekovia isn’t the only thing we’re building. We have updates on weapons, characters, and other in-game goodies to show off. Keep your eyes peeled for more leaks coming in the next few weeks.

From more AMAs with our team and partners to launching official dev diaries from our team, we have lots of fun things to share with you. Game development can be time consuming and laborious, but that process doesn’t need to be kept in a black box. As we kick off our dev diaries, we’d love our community to get involved and continue to keep sending over suggestions and feedback to the dev team.
